She graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in Business and a minor in Recreation. While at Iowa she was a gymnast on a full-ride scholarship her first year and then became a cheerleader for the IOWA Hawkeyes.  After she graduated from Iowa she was hired to manage and market a brand new $2-million-dollar fitness center where she had to pre-sell fitness memberships from a trailer before the facility was built. This was a tough sale straight out of college, but she made it look very easy!  She was able to get people to believe in her and visualize what she was selling at a young age. This is what started her true ability to sell and learn to handle objections. In 1987 Christy moved to Kansas City and became known as Christy Cowell. From 1987- 2003 she was involved in the gift ware sales with Russ Berrie & Co where she received top honors year after year for high sales volume.  She was named rookie of the year and top salesperson for many years.  She also had the duty to train and lead others.  While she was selling troll dolls and teddy bears to Hallmark stores and National accounts such as Hallmark and Sears she was also a member of the Kansas City Chiefs cheerleaders.  In 2000 Christy started AACS cheer also known as All American Cheer & Stunt. AACS cheer is an All Star cheer program located in the KC area. Her cheerleading teams have won many National titles and was named program of the year in 2014 from the USASF. She again built a $2-million-dollar cheer facility and event center in 2008 and has been the head coach and owner for all AACS Cheer and It’s your Party KC, a party rental facility, from 2008 to present. In 1999 her referral base became so strong that Kathy Koehler talked Christy into getting her real estate license. The Koehler Team was number one in 1999 and still number one today!  Christy is proud to be a part of such a wonderful team that Kathy and Heather have built.  Christy sold real estate to her friends and family while being a top sales person in the gift industry, running her own business, and being a mother of 3 children.  Yes, you can call her a go-getter or over achiever.  She is known by many for her high level energy and most people would agree if you want something done, put Christy in charge! Christy was nominated as one of the most successful businesswoman in the KC area in 2000. She is driven yet very loving to her family and friends.  Christy also volunteered as a Sunday school teacher and as a LES parent for many years. Karisa is 23 and also a former All Star, HS cheerleader and volleyball player who will graduate from the University of Iowa in May. Chance who is 10 is a competitive golfer.  He had the opportunity to golf at the Masters at age 9 and has competed at the US kids golf worlds in Pinehurst for the past 4 years. They also have a golden retriever dog named cooper. Christy strives to keep her children motivated to achieve success at whatever they choose to do by working hard and believing in themselves. This is a moto she has had for herself throughout the years as well as her other favorite saying “she likes to work hard and play hard.” In 2006 Christy married her husband Mike and became Christy Cowell Rinkol.  Her husband Mike is an engineer at Black Veatch.  He loves college football and is an avid Nebraska Husker fan.  In his spare time, he has tried to learn the sport of golf as he is the caddie for their son Chance at most of his golf tournaments.  Christy and family enjoy going to Royals and Chief’s games, vacationing in Cabo, playing cards and hosting parties at their home.
