Job Summary:

The Koehler Bortnick Team (of Reece and Nichols) has been ranked the #1 Real Estate team in Kansas City for 18 consecutive years by the Kansas City Business Journal and was ranked #13 in the nation for $141.9 million in sales volume by the Wall Street Journal in 2010.  Currently we are seeking an enthusiastic, detail oriented, Personal Assistant to join our #1 team at our corporate office in Leawood, KS. 

The Personal Assistant will work under Kathy Koehler and will be responsible for providing executive and personal administrative support.  Position requires an efficient, organized, self-directed individual, who can prioritize individual tasks, respond to urgent requirements in a timely manner, and works well with others in a fast-paced environment.  The ideal candidate will take initiative and will be a hardworking, friendly, creative, proactive, worker who will play a hands-on role in what needs to get done every day.  Loyalty and confidentiality is of high importance.   

Requirements:

  • Be comfortable working in an extremely fast-paced production environment while maintaining a high   degree of accuracy
  • Ability to efficiently manage and prioritize multiple projects
  • Takes and transcribes dictations
  • Promptly respond to telephone calls, emails, and/or texts
  • Occasionally arranges travel plans and itineraries
  • Possesses high energy and a strong work ethic
  • Oversee mailings and shipping of various personal items
  • Highly effective verbal and written communications skills, attention to detail and organized

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of documented work experience
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once
  • Good organizational skills, strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Publisher, Excel and social media sites

This position is part-time (20 hours/week)
